More Than 300 Baby Bags Distributed in 2025!

In 2025, Better Health Partnership was proud to once again offer its Baby Bag Program to the community, an initiative created to provide essential baby items to new moms in need. This program was made possible through generous support from a grant offered by the Ohio Commission on Minority Health and aims to assist in giving newborns a healthy and safe start.

More than 300 baby bags were assembled and distributed throughout the year. Each bag was filled with necessities to care for a newborn, including diapers, wipes, breastfeeding supplies, bottles, pacifiers, sleep sacks, outlet covers, educational materials, and more. The items were selected to support BHP’s Pathways HUB goals to promote safe sleep, breastfeeding, and good hygiene.

The Baby Bag Program would not have been possible without the collaboration of Pathways HUB partner agencies. The dedicated community health workers at care coordination agencies, including Cleveland Clinic, MetroHealth, Neighborhood Family Practice, Partnership for Good Health, Pregnant with Possibilities, and The Centers worked directly with community members to identify mothers who would benefit from the bags and deliver them with compassion when a new baby was born.

Through this effort, Better Health Partnership and its partners continue to advance community health and strengthen connections with families across Cuyahoga County—one baby bag at a time.
