In 2018, an independent study was published in Health Affairs demonstrating the hospitalization costs avoided as a result of Better Health’s collaborative efforts throughout the region. Specifically, the study showed approximately 6,000 ambulatory care sensitive condition hospitalizations avoided - saving approximately $40million in Cuyahoga County.
